There are still moments when I cannot help but replay the worst moments in the storm in my mind. Still amazed that we got through it all unscathed.

Will see what I end up telling the kids. I definitely won't tell them the part where I thought that it's a good thing my guest from Iowa is at the dive center, since she'd know whom to call to let them know of my tragic death! And that I thought it's a good thing I updated my last will and testament last summer... Phew.

Wow! I am so glad you are okay. As my daughter's amazing teacher I am not sure we can allow you take such adventurous trips. These are the stories that last lifetimes though.
